David Beckett

David is the Chief Executive of Go To Doc.
He joined the organisation in April 2005 having spent the previous 3 years as a Director of Commissioning & Modernisation in a Primary Care Trust (PCT) in Buckinghamshire. |
He graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 1992 and has since held a number of positions in the NHS including Assistant Director of Strategy & Planning at Buckinghamshire Health Authority, Acute Services Strategy Manager, primary care fund holding manager in Manchester and posts in clinical and forensic psychology.
Jane Pugh

Jane is the Head of Business Services.She joined GTD as a trainee manager in 2002, having formerly worked as a part time call handler whilst studying at university. Jane has progressed through the organisation and has held her current position since April 2009. |
She has been heavily involved in the recent expansion of the company and has relished the challenge this has brought. Jane graduated from the University of Salford in 2002 with a BSc in Business Studies with Financial Management and has continued her studies since. She is a member of the AAT and ACCA professional accountancy bodies and will complete the final stage of the certified chartered accountancy qualification in 2010.
Dawn Sewards

Dawn Sewards is the Head of Governance and joined GTD from NHS Oldham in June 2008. Dawn began her career in the NHS as a physiotherapist in 1984 and has worked across a range of services in Greater Manchester. |
Dawn has an MBA from Manchester Business School and is currently studying for an MSc in Healthcare Governance at Loughborough University. Dawn’s interest in quality began early in her NHS managerial career and she has worked with the National Clinical Governance Support Team.
Dr Hugh Tooby

Head of GP Services. Hugh did his medical training at Cambridge and Edinburgh and qualified as a doctor in 1985. He has been a GP for 20years and has practiced in a variety of locations including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, inner city Bradford and also Kosovo (the latter whilst serving as a Medical Officer in the British Army). |
More recently he has developed a particular interest in clinical quality assurance and general medical management. Formerly Medical Director at Local Care Direct in West Yorkshire he has worked for GOToDOC for the last five years in combined clinical and management roles. Outside work his other great interests are music and a wide range of outdoor activities.
Joan Dickson and Judith Ringland

Joan and Judith share the role of Head of Nursing.
Joan joined the organisation in January 2009 and became Joint Head of Nursing in March 2010. She has spent the last 20 years nursing in various GP practices across Stockport firstly as a Practice Nurse and then as a Nurse Practitioner. She has also had positions as Primary Care Clinical lead for Stockport PCT and Primary Care Delivery Manager . |
She has 4 years experience as the lead nurse clinician for Eastern Cheshire OOHs. She completed her RGN in 1977, ENBA51 Specialist Practitioner in 1997, BSc Nurse Practitioner degree in 2005, and Non Medical Prescribing in 2007.
Lisa Woodworth
Lisa is the Head of Urgent Care and joined GTD in May 2010, having spent the previous 13 years at Manchester Royal Infirmary (CMFT) working in a number of different roles and specialities
Prior to this Lisa spent 3 years working as a Research Assistant for the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Audit Unit, on a number of regional audits across the North West and Mersey Regions.
In 2003 until joining GTD, Lisa worked within the Emergency Department at Manchester Royal Infirmary (CMFT) commencing as Assistant Directorate manager and progressing to Directorate Manager. During this time Lisa gained valuable and extensive experience in managing urgent/unscheduled care.
