We are actively recruiting for a Practice Nurse to be a part of our dynamic team at The City Health Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a large City centre practice, with a diverse and unique patient population. Potential opportunities to work with projects involving the homeless and LGBT along with some new developments working with the new Primary Care Network.
Located in Manchester City centre, City Health Centre is easily accessible by all forms of transport and is surrounded by numerous shops and cafes giving the added benefit of lively city centre working.
What does being a Practice Nurse at gtd healthcare involve?
Our Practice Nurses use their skills to assess, diagnose, treat and provide advice, care and management for primary care patients that present with diagnosed or undiagnosed undifferentiated illness. If you want to provide excellent patient care in an innovative environment, this is could be the role for you!
Practice Nurses also have the opportunity to flexibly work across gtd healthcare sites, including opportunities if desired, to work within primary care, urgent care and telephone triage.

What skills and experience will you need to apply?
Educated to nursing degree level or equivalent
Experience in chronic disease management
Ability to prioritise tasks
Effective communication skills both on the phone and face to face
Cytology and child and travel immunisation experience
Proven level of accuracy and attention to detail
Want to improve and initiate new services for patients
