Catchment area and registrations
Our practice area includes all of Heywood so if you live in this area you can register with us.
If you would like to register at the practice you can visit the practice or ring 01706 261823 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange to have a registration form sent to you and organise a new patient appointment.
Making an appointment
If you would like to see the doctor or nurse there are a number of ways to book an appointment or a telephone consultation please contact the surgery on 01706 261823, by email email@example.com or come into the practice.
The practice would like to ask the patient to consider if they need to attend for an appointment or could the problem be dealt with by booking a telephone consultation.
The GPs surgeries are held at various times of the day.
If you are unable to keep your appointment it is very important that you let us know so that we can offer the appointment to someone else. Our practice policy is to inform any patient who arrives more than 15 minutes late for an appointment that unfortunately they may not be seen and will have to re-book their appointment.
If you are unable to attend the medical practice and need a home visit contact reception on 01706 231823. Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. If possible please try to telephone before 10am. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange going to hospital. Please note we are always able to examine patients better and can do more tests in the practice. Please try to make it to the practice if you can.
