Droylsden Medical Practice is a new surgery providing high quality care staffed by a team consisting of a male doctor and a female doctor, nurse, healthcare assistant and administrative staff. The practice offers services to patients living within the catchment area (see below). Services are available six days a week (see above for surgery times).
Home Visits
If you are unable to attend the Medical Practice and need a home visit contact reception on 0161 342 7777. Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. If possible please try to telephone before 10am. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange going to hospital. Please note we are always able to examine patients better and can do more tests in the centre. Please try to make it to the centre if you can.
What if the Practice is closed?
If you need advice or treatment outside of the hours listed in the table below please call the surgery and you will automatically be redirected to the out of hours service.
Alternatively you can call GO To DOC directly on 0161 336 3252. A call handler will answer your call, and take a few details. The call handler will then either:
Arrange for you to speak to a doctor or nurse, or
Invite you to attend a treatment centre and be seen by the doctor, or
Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre.

Catchment area and registrations
Our Practice area includes all of Droylsden and some areas of Audenshaw.
If you would like to register with the practice, please collect a registration form from the practice.
If you have not previously been registered with a GP in the UK, you will need to bring evidence of your place of residence, such as a work permit visa, utility bill or photo ID.
Making an appointment
If you would like to see the doctor or nurse please phone 0161 342 7777 or come into the Practice to make an appointment.
If you are unable to keep your appointment it is very important that you let us know so that we can offer the appointment to someone else. Our Practice policy is to inform any patient who arrives more than 10 minutes late for an appointment that unfortunately they may not be seen and will have to re-book their appointment.
