A heat-health alert has been issued across all regions in England from Tuesday, 9 August until Sunday, 14 August. Please do look out for family, friends and neighbours who may be more vulnerable during prolonged periods of hot weather – particularly elderly people who live alone and people with underlying health conditions. If you are concerned about your health or somebody you care for, please contact NHS 111, your local pharmacist, or your GP.
