Measles: If you think you or your child has measles and are not in an urgent, life-threatening condition, please call NHS 111 or your GP for advice. Please refrain from visiting a healthcare setting unless it is necessary or advised, as measles is a highly contagious infection that can cause serious health problems for some people. Simpson Medical Practice has been awarded Gold level award for excellence in LGBT healthcare via LGBT Foundation’s Pride in Practice programme.
Our staff are very aware of the importance of this award with key members of staff acting as LGBT champions for patients. Our aim is to continue to promote the services available so that we can further improve the LGBT patient experience for all.
Please do speak to a member of staff if you would like more information on support available for LGBT people or you can go directly to LGBT Foundation who provide a wide range of services and support for the needs of the diverse range of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans.
