As a result of this bank holiday, the practice will be closed on Thursday, 2 June and Friday, 3 June.
If you require medical advice or attention that cannot wait until the practice is open, please call 111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk. For medical emergencies, please dial 999.
Please be assured, Ashton GP Service is open and appointments are available to all patients. Due to COVID-19, how you access the practice will be different at the moment, this is to prevent the spread of the virus. To ensure staff and patient safety, please remember to wear a face covering, unless exempt, and socially distance at two metres, where possible. Further information on accessing the practice can be found here.
Our aim is to provide our patients with the best possible healthcare services that are of the highest standard. As a patient, you will receive care that is responsive to your needs, and we will work with supporting organisations, where necessary, to achieve this. We pride ourselves on putting our patients first and in doing so, we will always take the time to listen and respond openly and honestly every time.
Please note, a telephone line is available at the practice, which gives patients direct access to Citizens Advice. The free service enables patients to discuss any concerns or issues while visiting the centre. Further information is available here. Citizens Advice can help you with a number of different issues, including completing forms, challenging decisions, managing emergencies such as bailiff actions, prioritising payments and dealing with fuel arrears.
Please be aware, patients can now order prescriptions:
Ensuring our patients can access Ashton GP Service via telephone in a timely manner is a key priority. Therefore, please note, the practice is now unable to accept prescription requests over the telephone; this is to free-up the telephone lines for other patient queries. Thank you for your understanding.
