Please be assured, patients will be contacted immediately when it's their turn to be vaccinated. The order in which we are offering the vaccine is based on advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation. The risk of mortality from Covid-19 increases with age, therefore, prioritisation is given to those patients aged 80 years of age and over, and care home residents and staff. We will soon be moving to vaccinate the over-75s and housebound patients.
Patients are encouraged to make sure the practice holds the correct contact details, including telephone number and email address, as there may be circumstances whereby there is a short turn-around time to invite patients for a vaccine.
Further information is available here.
The NHS is currently under increased pressure due to the continued impact of Covid-19. This means that you may experience delays in the services provided at your GP practice. Please accept our sincere apologies and continue to check our website or follow us on Twitter for further updates.
Thank you for your co-operation and patience.
Our aim is to provide our patients with the best possible healthcare services that are of the highest standard. As a patient, you will receive care that is responsive to your needs, and we will work with supporting organisations, where necessary, to achieve this. We pride ourselves on putting our patients first and in doing so, we will always take the time to listen and respond openly and honestly every time.
Please note, a telephone line is available at the practice, which gives patients direct access to Citizens Advice. The free service enables patients to discuss any concerns or issues while visiting the centre. Further information is available here. Citizens Advice can help you with a number of different issues, including completing forms, challenging decisions, managing emergencies such as bailiff actions, prioritising payments and dealing with fuel arrears.
