Named accountable GP
As part of a previous NHS initiative, all patients were allocated a named accountable GP. However, due to the way GP practices now operate, including varying shift patterns and changes following the COVID-19 pandemic, you may see any available healthcare professional at the practice, as care is shared across the practice team.
When booking an appointment online, you can choose your preferred healthcare professional where appointments are available. You can also ask not to see a particular healthcare professional, and this preference can be added to your patient record.
