Three more gtd healthcare GP practices have all been rated ‘Good’ in recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.

Inspections at Ashton GP Service in Ashton-under-Lyne, Birtle View Medical Practice in Heywood and Lindley Medical Practice in Oldham, were all undertaken in November 2015.

Registered patients at the practices reported that "they were treated with compassion, dignity and respect and they were involved in their care and decisions about their treatment” prior to and on the day of treatment. The inspection reports added: "The practice had good facilities and was well equipped to treat patients and meet their needs.”

Feedback from patients about their care at Birtle View Medical Practice "was consistently and strongly positive,” while patients at Ashton GP Service said "they found it easy to make an appointment with a GP and there was continuity of care, with urgent appointments available the same day”.

David Beckett, gtd healthcare chief executive, said he was delighted with the positive outcomes.

"These ratings really demonstrate staff commitment to providing services that meet our patients’ needs,” he said.

"We continuously strive to enhance the services at our GP practices and, in doing so, we aim to ensure that we put our patients first.”

The three reports are being reviewed by gtd healthcare to explore further opportunities for improvement.

Six gtd healthcare GP practices have now been inspected by the CQC, all of which have been rated ‘Good’.

The CQC monitors, inspects and regulates services to ensure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety in the NHS.
