We have now received the draft report back form the CQC following their visit on 17th March 2015. We had good feedback on the day and this has now been confirmed in the report by being awarded an overall Goodrating.

The Practice was noted as being Outstanding for one particular area:

"The Practice has a predominantly Bangladeshi patient population, the majority of which di not speak English as a first language. 76% of staff spoke at least two languages and there was usually a staff member available who could speak with patients in their own language. This meant staff could explain the importance of tests and treatment to patients.”

Well done to all the team on this fantastic achievement.

We are now awaiting the results of our second CQC inspection at Droyslden Medical Practice.
