A new recruit who was appointed following a gtd healthcare careers event has expressed her enthusiasm for the organisation.
Joanna Howard, senior clinical practitioner, joined Oldham’s Urgent Care Hub in January and has shared fantastic feedback as she integrates within the team.
Joanna said joining gtd healthcare is the best move she has ever made.
The virtual clinical careers event gave me a great understanding of gtd healthcare," she said.
"I was impressed with the level of support and opportunities available to employees, as well as the possibility to advance clinically in my career.
“Since my first encounter with gtd healthcare, I have had excellent support and interactions with every member of staff. Lynne Barlow, clinical services manager and non-medical prescribing lead, has been instrumental in assisting me with the transition and has gone above and beyond to help me settle-in, supporting me every step of the way."
As part of Joanna's induction, she is familiarising herself with the local population, understanding the various pathways and taking the time to engage and meet with community services. Joanna is working alongside the urgent care team to continue to provide high-quality care to the patients in Oldham.
