gtd healthcare has recognised employees for their hard work, dedication and invaluable contributions to the organisation as part of an awareness day.

Employee Appreciation Day, which took place on 1 March, provided an excellent opportunity for workplaces to express their gratitude towards their staff.

david-beckett.jpgDavid Beckett (right), gtd healthcare's chief executive, said the executive team was keen to thank everyone for their commitment to living the organisation’s values, and for delivering exceptional care and support to patients, our community and colleagues.

“To celebrate the occasion, we encouraged staff to share positive feedback about their colleagues and teams who they believed deserved recognition and made funds available for managers to purchase goodies and treats,” he said.

“We were overwhelmed by the heart-warming comments we received, highlighting the outstanding efforts of staff across primary care, urgent care and head office.”

Nominees had their names entered into a prize draw.

A snapshot of the comments received include:

  • "They enrich the lives of others and are always there for the team."
  • "They demonstrate innovation and creativity and deliver lasting results."
  • "I can’t stress enough what a difference they make in my team. I’m so grateful for their hard work and support."
  • "They provide endless support and encouragement to us as a team."
  • "They share their advice, knowledge and experience in a supportive manner to the benefit of all within the service."
  • "I regularly receive positive feedback about them and have been impressed with how they have taken everything
  • in their stride."
  • "They are truly a very caring person who always thinks of others in the workplace."
  • “They always go above and beyond to support me on my placement and university studies.”
  • “They have been a massive support to me whenever I have needed it.”
