Staff from every corner of the organisation have received praise and recognition for their outstanding contribution to living the organisation’s values.
This year’s Staff Recognition Awards received a fantastic response with more than 170 nominations, 45 of which were directly from patients.
Employees and teams were nominated across nine categories for going above and beyond the call of duty over the past year.
The event took place on 12 December at head office, where David Beckett, gtd healthcare's chief executive, revealed the winners and runners-up.
David said the awards were a wonderful way to honour and celebrate members of staff and teams who have excelled this year.
"The shortlisting exercise emphasised the incredible workforce we are so fortunate to have at gtd healthcare, which resulted in some tough decisions being made when choosing the winners and runners-up,” he said.
“While the main focus of the awards is on how people live our values, this year we introduced new categories, which are linked to learning and development via gtd academy.
“The academy has gone from strength to strength and it seemed apt that we recognised learning and development because investing in our people ensures staff feel valued and equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel.”
