Two healthcare professionals have been recognised for their outstanding contribution and dedication to patient care at the Greater Manchester General Practice CPD Conference 2026.

Malcolm Fagleman, senior clinical pharmacist at Millbrook Medical Practice, and Justine Webb, senior clinical practitioner at Guide Bridge Medical Practice and Millbrook Medical Practice, received awards in recognition of their dedication to patient care.

Malcolm, who attended the event on 12 May, was named Allied Health Professional of the Year, while Justine received the Tameside Practice Nurse of the Year award.

Gemma Bardsley, practice manager at Millbrook Medical Practice and Mossley Medical Practice, said Malcolm is an absolute asset to the practices, and this win is well deserved given his years of dedication to the NHS.”

“He is a knowledgeable mentor, a trusted and well-respected team member and an inspirationally hard worker, especially when supporting his peers and trainees,” she said.

“We have so much fondness and respect for him. He is a national treasure in our eyes.”

Justine was commended for her holistic and preventative approach to patient care, alongside her commitment to developing her expertise in diabetes and respiratory health.

She said: “Receiving this award is a proud and humbling achievement. I am very grateful to those who kindly nominated me.”“Above all, I feel very fortunate to work with truly great people. The opportunities, support, and feeling of community are abundant at gtd healthcare.”
