Building on recent work to strengthen cyber security standards, gtd healthcare's digital services team has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

A comprehensive technical assessment undertaken by the digital services team has led to enhancing cyber security standards and providing additional assurance that:

  • systems, devices and data are well protected against common cyber threats;
  • security controls are in place and working effectively;
  • devices and systems are securely configured and regularly maintained;
  • recognised security standards are continuing to be met across the organisation.

Ubaid Javid, head of digital services, said securing Cyber Essentials Plus so soon after the original accreditation reflects the hard work, commitment and collaboration of the team.

“I’m incredibly proud of the digital services team and everyone who supported the assessment process,” he said.

“The certification reinforces confidence for staff, patients, partners and stakeholders that strong and effective security standards are being maintained across gtd healthcare.”
