A grateful patient surprised a member of staff with a beautiful bouquet of flowers after they took the time to listen and help resolve their problems. Anna Leatherbarrow, receptionist at Ashton GP Service, went above and beyond to ensure a registered patient received the care she needed after issues with her medication and appointments. Anna said she could see the patient was getting frustrated as she did not understand why she was encountering a problem. “I listened to her and looked into her prescription issue to see what might be the problem,” she said. “After speaking with the pharmacy, I managed to fix the problem and get everything sorted. “I was just doing my job, so I was utterly blown away when I received the fantastic flower arrangement. It put a smile on my face knowing that my work was deeply appreciated.” Well done for inspiring trust and confidence in the patient.
